The following is a numerical comparison of all the characters. It also serves as a reference for the stats of all the characters' basic moves. See Stats for the meanings of the common columns.
"w/ H.O." stands for "with heavy object". When running diagonally, the x-speed is reduced to 6/7 of its normal value. Here, the Recovery column says how many frames are spent stopping running.
A lot of the facts here are heavily simplified for the sake of comparability. Some moves, for instance, happen in multiple different phases, some or all of which may hit, and which may each have different stats. In making the tables, generally the effects of the different phases were added and the ranges were maximized. Specific details can be found on the individual character pages, or usually just by playing the game.
Most characters have one punch for their left arm and another one for their right arm; when a given value differs between the two punches, the larger value is used, but the smaller one is displayed too, separated from the larger by a slash.
